Working with links
Updated over a week ago

Insert links in the text so that people can navigate directly to the corresponding target pages. You can do this in the following ways.

Insert links in post text

Links in the post text are clickable on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, as well as the Google Company Profile.

Important : On Instagram, links in the text are not clickable. Therefore, add the links in your bio (e.g. via a tool like Linktree ) and refer to them in the post text (e.g. via "Link in Bio").

If the link is too long, it will be automatically shortened by the platform. You can also use a link shortner like bitly.com to insert short links directly into your post text.

Show link preview

Optionally, you can also display the link as a link preview. This will take people directly to the target page when they click on the image or the title of the link preview. To do this, activate the "Show link preview" checkbox below the post text. The link preview is supported on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and in the Google company profile.

Important : Only on LinkedIn and the Google Company Profile can the link preview be customized (title, description & image). For Facebook and Twitter, the link preview is automatically created based on the data stored on the landing page and cannot be changed.

ℹ️ In the post preview in adhook you can see how the link preview will look like in the post.

You can also customize the link preview individually per platform. To do this, activate the "Individualize post per platform" checkbox. For example, you can activate a link preview on LinkedIn and work without a link preview on Facebook.
