Create custom report
Updated over 4 months ago

To visualize key figures across the board and share them with the people involved, you can use the individual reporting in adhook.

Possible use cases:

  • Visualize results of a campaign using specific key figures

  • Visualize results from multiple campaigns in one report

  • Visualize post, campaign and follower results of a brand (e.g. as a monthly report)

  • Quarterly, half-yearly & Annual evaluations of all activities

Create report

Proceed as follows to create a customized report:

  1. Open "Reports

  2. Create a new report via "Create Report

  3. Define a name for the report

  4. Choose a template on which to base your report

  5. Define the visibility for the new report

  6. Specify which time range the report should look at

  7. Define which report data should be included in the report.

  8. If you don't want to use all the selected report data in the report, you can filter it. Filters are available for platforms, placements and tags. Only the filtered selected report data will be included in the report accordingly.

  9. Click "Next" to create and open the report

The report now displays the selected report data in different widgets based on the selected report template.

Do you want to use your own report templates? Let us know via support request so that we can provide you with an existing report as a template in the adhook account.

Widgets

Your report consists of individual building blocks, the so-called "widgets". The following types of widgets are available:

  • Summary

  • Line chart

  • Pie chart

  • Bar chart

  • Table

  • Title

  • Subtitle

  • Text

  • Image

Edit widget

When editing a widget, you have the following options.

Name

The displayed name of the widget in the report.

Type

The widget type determines how the widget is visualized in the report. Depending on the type, you have different options for editing.

Key figures

Select here all the key figures that should be visualized in the widget. Depending on the selected filter, you will have key figures for posts, campaigns, followers or the number of different activities.

Comparison (Summary widget type)

For widgets of the type "Summary" you can have the displayed data compared with other data, e.g. the previous period (see How can I compare key figures with the previous period? ).

Data source

Directly below the title "Filter" you can choose from which data source you want to display results in the widget. The following data sources are available:

  • Include Posts Data

  • Include campaign data

  • Include page views and follower information

  • Posts, campaigns as well as data from other events (only suitable for "Number of posts", "Number of campaigns" etc.)

  • Include website analytics data (data from connected Google Analytics account)
Include social message data (comments, mentions, direct messages & ratings)

Depending on the selected data source, different key figures are available for you to choose from.

Sorting

Specify how the data displayed in the widget should be sorted. For example, for a "Top 5 Posts (Impressions)" widget, you can sort by "Impressions" in descending order.
