Instead of promoting posts individually in a campaign, you can also create a campaign that automatically detects and promotes good performing content from your social media profiles.
Follow these steps to set up automatic promotion of posts in a campaign.
- Create a campaign and select at least one social media advertising network (Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn and/or Twitter)
- Choose the target audience to which you want to present the promoted posts (see Define target audience )
- In the "Advertisements" step, click "Automatically advertise posts" in the left side menu.
- In the dialog you can set when a post should be promoted in this campaign and for how long. The following settings are available:
- Which posts should be promoted (platforms, post types)?
- How long should a post be promoted in the campaign (e.g. 3 days)?
- What is the maximum age of a post that can be promoted in the campaign (e.g. 14 days)?
- Filter posts so that, for example, only posts with a minimum number of organic interactions are promoted. You can also filter your posts by the post text (e.g. promote only posts that contain "blog" in the text)
- Select the placements in which the promoted post should be displayed. - Click "Apply". You don't need to create any more ads or select posts manually.
- Define a term with no end date and set a daily budget.
- Activate the campaign to transfer it to the selected advertising accounts.
Adhook regularly checks whether posts can be promoted in the campaign according to your specifications. As soon as a post is suitable, it will be added to the campaign and you as the campaign creator will be informed via email.
After the defined duration of a post's promotion (e.g. 3 days), the post is automatically paused in the campaign.
If no post fits the defined criteria and thus no post is promoted during a period in the campaign, the defined daily budget is not used.
ℹ️ Automatic post promotion is supported for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
