Posts can be reviewed via review workflows & before publication. The following are some typical use cases:
4-eyes principle review by one or more review candidates
Multi-stage review (e.g. different departments/stakeholders reviewing the content one after the other)
Review of centrally prepared content by brands (e.g. business units or customers)
The review workflow for posts can be configured specifically on each brand. To do this, proceed as follows:
Click on the cogwheel in the upper right corner and select "Brands
Edit the desired brand
Switch to the Post Publishing tab
Configure the review workflow for this brand at "Review & Release". You can choose from the following options:
Release post once a candidate:in has given the release
Select one or more people as review candidate:in. A post will be assigned to these individuals upon submission. Once a person releases the post, the post is scheduled/published.Release post once all candidate:s have given approval
Select multiple people as review candidate:s. A post will be assigned to these individuals upon submission. Once all people have approved the post, the post will be scheduled/published.
For more complex review workflows, you can also configure the two options described above in additional steps. Activate the second/third step via the checkbox below the defined candidates. After that you can again use the options defined in step 4 to select review candidates.
Save the brand to activate the review workflow. All posts submitted from now on will be assigned to appropriate people according to the configuration.
ℹ️ At the end of post creation, the post can be published or scheduled for publication. Once a review workflow is stored, the post can only be "submitted for review". This will start the defined review workflow. Once this has been successfully completed, the post is published or scheduled.
Advanced requirements not described here can be covered via individual review workflows. Contact adhook support if you want to learn more about this.
